A flight to this region will land at Proserpine, 10km south of Airlie Beach or fly direct to Hamilton Island. A trip by rail will also take you to Proserpine where you can get a bus or taxi to Shute Harbour. Shute Harbour will be your last piece of land before you set sail.

Crewed boat charters are another great way to see the Whitsunday Islands at a leisurely pace. You can also rent a yacht or motor cruiser and choose your own destiny. Perfect for romantic getaways, family holidays and group sailing adventures. All the boats are fully equipped, the only items missing are the skipper, and a crew. You don't need to be an expert; a little experience and some help from the friendly qualified staff will have you confidently cruising among the Whitsundays in a matter of hours.

Hold on, there are even more ways to see the reef. Go on a glass bottom boat or semi-submersible sub ride or learn to snorkel or scuba dive.
