Welcome to the Fraser Coast, being one of Queensland's most sought after holiday destinations, located approximately three and a half hours drive north of Brisbane, makes it easily accessible. With an abundance of experiences to offer, from Whale Watching in Hervey Bay to World Heritage listed Fraser Island, or feeding the Dolphins at Tin Can Bay.

Hervey Bay has gained international recognition as one of the best locations to view the majestic humpback whales as they migrate through the region's calm waters during August to October.

Hervey Bay boasts an aquatic environment featuring coral and artificial reefs teeming with marine life. Boating and fishing enthusiasts enjoy estuary, beach, jetty or reef and game fishing, and a variety of water sports including diving, water and jet skiing, wind surfing and snorkeling.

In recent years, the region has become famous as the playground of the majestic Humpback Whales on their return to the Antarctic. From August to October, the whales frolic in the warm sheltered waters of the bay, putting on a spectacular display for their admirers.
